About

Hello! I'm Jess.

I'm interested in creating delightful, intuitive experiences that are purposeful with a lasting impact.

Born in Chicago, spent 12 years in Beijing and Shanghai, moved to the Bay Area, then college in the midwest; I’m never exactly sure where I'm really from. As a result of my not-so-Chinese but also not-exactly-American upbringing, I’m drawn towards the duality of things. I’m never fully one thing myself, which paved an innate curiosity towards multitudes of perspectives.

This is why I’ve found designing for other people so fulfilling and rewarding. Also the reason why I studied design, marketing, and HCI—to create solutions that complement varying lifestyles and needs.
